THE SECRET SWAMP OF MEMPHIS
In Memphis is a surprisingly surprising place. It seems that no one really knows about it outside the city - An outdoors shop located within an artificial swamp, within a full sized Pyramid which also contains an aquarium bowling alley. It is chock full of stuffed animals, rivers, neon and everything you need to survive the great outdoors. It also has America's tallest freestanding lift.
This is the sort of place that dreams are made of - if your dreams manifest due to excessive cheese before bedtime. I loved it.
In all seriousness, it's like nowhere on earth. I loved the awesome juxtapositions, the surreal scenarios and the filmic lighting - glorious.
I created a series of photographs capturing the delights I discovered.
